Cambodia Airways (KR, Phnom Penh) has commenced flight operations following the awarding of its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) by Cambodia's Secretariat of State Civil Aviation (SSCA) on July 6.
Using a pair of A319-100s (msn 3853 and 3872) on dry-lease from Doric Asset Finance, Cambodia Airways began regular flights between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap on Tuesday, July 10. Thereafter, on July 14 and 21, it will open up flights from the Cambodian capital to Sihanoukville and Macau International respectively.
Eventually, it intends to expand its coverage of Southeast Asia, as well as Oceania, and even Europe and the Americas.
