Thai Airways International (TG, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) has concluded B737 narrowbody operations as of Sunday, September 2, after its sole remaining B737-400 conducted its last scheduled service.
According to Thai aviation sources, the last revenue flight of HS-TDG (msn 26614) for Thai was as flight TG288 Koh Samui-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Thai Airways Int'l (inclusive of Thai Airways (TAC)) has operated a total of eleven B737-400s and five B737-200Adv.s over the years.
Thai's mainline fleet now consists entirely of widebody aircraft including fifteen A330-300s, twelve A350-900s, six A380-800s, eight B747-400s, six B777-200s, six -200(ER)s, six B777-300s, fourteen B777-300(ER)s, six B787-8s, and two B787-9s. Its Thai Smile (Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) unit will continue to operate narrowbody aircraft by way of twenty A320-200s.
