XL Airways France (Paris CDG) has wet-leased an A330-200 from HiFly (5K/Lisbon), a B737-800 from Viking Airlines (4P/Stockholm Arlanda) and an A320-200 from Viking Hellas Aviation (VQ/Athens) for the summer charter season. It will lease a second brand new B737-800 itself from January 2011. XL Airways France has taken a majority stake in tour operator Italowcost that is concentrating on packages to several Italian destinations: Nantes-Figari: weekly seasonal A320-200 service (already launched) Paris CDG-Naples: 2x weekly seasonal A320-200/B737-300 service between May 20 and September 23 (weekly B737-300 operated by Astraeus (5W/London Gatwick) on behalf of TrawelFly (Milan Orio al Serio) Paris CDG-Pescara: 2x weekly seasonal A320-200 service between May 28 and September 6 (in cooperation with OnAir (Pescara)) Paris CDG-Rome Fiumicino: weekly A320-200 service has started on April 4 Paris CDG-Tunis: 5x weekly A320-200 service (already launched)
