VietJetAir (VJ, Hanoi Noi Bai International) has announced it has signed a firm order agreement with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for 100 B737 MAX jets.
The order was originally announced as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during the 2018 Farnborough Air Show and entails eighty B737-10s and twenty B737-8s.
The LCC has a further 100 B737-8-200s on order for the US firm as well as 116 A321neo on order from Airbus. Concerning the Europeans, VietJetAir has an MOU for fifty more A321neo that was also signed during last year's edition of the Farnborough Air Show.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, VietJetAir currently operates twenty-seven A320ceo, thirty-five A321ceo, and seven A321neo.
