Love2Fly (Kuala Lumpur International) has taken delivery of its first aircraft, B737-800 9M-LOV (msn 29658). According to Skyliner Aviation, the former Ukraine International Airlines (PS, Kyiv Boryspil) narrowbody was ferried from Woensdrecht to Kuala Lumpur Subang via Dubai World Central over the course of October 16 and 17.
As previously reported, Love2Fly, known by its legal name as M Jets International Sdn Bhd, secured conditional approval for an Air Service Permit (ASP) for the period March 1, 2019, to February 29, 2020. The licence covers non-scheduled flying suggesting Love2Fly will operate in the passenger charter/ACMI niche.
At present, it is understood to be in the process of securing its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) ahead of a commercial debut later this year.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Love2Fly is expecting a second B737-800, 9M-MJI (msn 29654), to deliver as well. Both the ex-UIA jets are leased from San Clemente Leasing.
