Dunhuang, a city in northwestern Gansu Province in Western China, is to see its first scheduled international route from next month.
Cambodian carrier Lanmei Airlines will launch a weekly A320-200 service from Siem Reap to the Chinese city from December 9 until February 24, 2020. The service will depart Siem Reap on Mondays at 1500L and arrive in Dunhuang at 2135L. The return sector leaves China at 2235, landing in Cambodia at 0330L on Tuesday morning.
According to the ch-aviation schedules product, Dunhuang presently offers flights to 13 domestic destinations, including Beijing Capital (Air China), Guangzhou (China Eastern Airlines and Hainan Airlines), Shanghai Hongqiao (Spring Airlines), and Shanghai Pudong (China Eastern).
As part of the same expansion from Siem Reap, Lanmei will also commence a 2x weekly A321-200 operation to Shenzhen from November 24. With these new routes, the Cambodian airline will offer 10 city pairs in China, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi in Thailand, as well as Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville in Cambodia.
