Olympus Airways (Athens) took delivery of its first B757-200(F), msn 25294, on December 7, 2019, ch-aviation research has revealed.

The 28-year-old Boeing twinjet was retired by American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) in 2015. It then underwent conversion at Goodyear airport and was ferried from Arizona via Portsmouth to Athens over the course of December 6-7, RadarBox24 ADS-B data shows. According to photos available online, the aircraft has already been repainted into Olympus Airways' livery.

The B757 freighter will be registered as SX-AMJ in Greece.

The aircraft is the first freighter in Olympus Airways' fleet. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the Greek charter specialist currently operates three A321-200s. All three are currently stored or under maintenance - two in Teruel and one in Newcastle, GB.
