GetJet Airlines (GW, Vilnius) has announced it reached an agreement with AerCap to dry-lease a B737-800, its first unit of the type, and an A320-200 with deliveries scheduled for the second quarter of 2020.
"We have strategically expanded our fleet in order to satisfy various clients’ needs. A mixed fleet of Boeings, Airbus A320s, and A319s and a widebody aircraft is our strength in the market," Chief Executive Darius Viltrakis said.
The Lithuanian ACMI/charter specialist currently operates B737 Classics, namely two B737-300s and three B737-400s. It also operates five A319-100s, six A320-200s, and a single A330-300. Among its current ACMI customers are MAI - Myanmar Airways International, LOT Polish Airlines, Sunwing Airlines, and Air Sénégal.
AerCap has 155 owned and 179 managed A320s, and 162 owned and 200 managed B737-800s in its portfolio based on ch-aviation fleets ownership data.
