royalair philippines (RW, Angeles City Clark International) has added its first A320-200 in the form of RP-C9799 (msn 2529), ch-aviation research has revealed.
The aircraft is 14.4 years old is owned by Minsheng Financial Leasing, the ch-aviation fleets module shows, and was last in service for Lanmei Airlines (Phnom Penh) which retired it at the end of the Summer 2019 season. Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows it was subsequently flown to Angeles City Clark International for maintenance on October 31, 2019, before returning to Phnom Penh on December 3. It was then redelivered to Clark by January 6, 2020.
royalair currently operates two A319-100s, deploying them on scheduled routes from the Philippines to China and Cambodia. The A320 is provisionally scheduled to enter revenue service on January 9, flying from Manila Ninoy Aquino International to Sihanoukville.
