Holiday Europe (Sofia) took delivery of two A321-200Ns following a transfer from parent carrier Onur Air (Istanbul Airport), Skyliner Aviation has reported.
LZ-HEH (msn 7694) and LZ-HEI (msn 8085), previously TC-OED and TC-OEE respectively, have operated on behalf of Holiday Europe since February 2020 and December 2019 respectively, in the Bulgarian carrier's full livery albeit while still registered in Turkey. Following maintenance at Istanbul Atatürk, they are still at Istanbul Airport awaiting delivery to Bulgaria, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Holiday Europe's in-house fleet has thus far consisted of a single A321-200, LZ-HEA (msn 811), which currently operates leisure charters between Germany and the Greek islands. Holiday Europe also wet-leases another A321-200 from Avion Express (X9, Vilnius), again using it on Germany-Greece routes.
The aircraft were Onur Air's only two A321-200Ns. Following the transfer of the narrowbodies to its Bulgarian subsidiary, the Turkish carrier will continue to operate eight A320-200s, two A321-100s, three A321-200s, ten A330-200s, and a single A330-300.
