K-Mile Asia (8K, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) took delivery of its first B737-800(BCF) on March 24, 2021, ch-aviation research has revealed.
EI-DLR (msn 33596) was ferried to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi directly after conversion at Jinan airport. It will become HS-KMD once re-registered in Thailand. The 14.6-year-old ex-Ryanair aircraft is owned by KV Aviation and is the second of twenty-one B737-800s to be converted by ASL Aviation Holdings, which holds a 45% stake in the airline through ASL Airlines Switzerland.
ASL's first B737-800(BCF) was delivered in November 2020 to ASL Airlines France (5O, Paris CDG). While the French carrier deploys the aircraft on behalf of FedEx, K-Mile Air said that its -800(BCF) would operate for DHL Express, mainly on regional trunk routes connecting Bangkok, Hong Kong International, and Hanoi Noi Bai International.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, K-Mile Air also operates one B737-400(F) and two B737-400(SF)s.
