Zambezi Airlines (Lusaka) has resumed limited operations on June 15 with a CRJ200 wet-leased from South African Express (Johannesburg O.R. Tambo). It had been grounded since November 1, 2011 after the Zambian civil aviation authority had suspended its operating license citing safety issues. It currently operates from Lusaka to Harare International and Johannesburg O.R. Tambo four times weekly and from Ndola International to Johannesburg and Lubumbashi. It has also resumed its Lusaka - Dar es Salaam route which is served twice weekly.
