Falcon Aviation Services (FVS, Abu Dhabi Bateen) has preliminarily committed to ordering up to 35 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft from Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International) subsidiary Eve Air Mobility (Fort Lauderdale International).

The parties signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) in April 2022, with deliveries expected to start in 2026, to introduce the first eVTOL tourism flights from the Atlantis, The Palm man-made island in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Eve and Falcon will also work together with local stakeholders and authorities to support developing the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) infrastructure in the UAE. According to a joint statement, the deal will position the business aviation services specialist as the first operator of eVTOL in Dubai and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

“This concept fully aligns with the Smart Dubai vision and will contribute to positioning Dubai as a global leader in sustainable UAM transportation,” commented Falcon Aviation Services Chief Operating Officer Ramandeep Oberoi.
