BBN Airlines Türkiye (B5, Antalya) launched cargo operations with its first A321-200(P2F) on July 26, 2023.
TC-GCA (msn 2205) was delivered to the Turkish carrier after conversion at Singapore Seletar in mid-June 2023. Following its re-registration in Türkiye and final maintenance, it operated a ferry flight from Istanbul Airport to Malta International on July 26, followed by a commercial service from Malta via Istanbul to Bishkek on July 26-27, 2023.
The airline is planning to operate the route 6x weekly going forward.
The converted A321 joined BBN Airlines' fleet of four A321-200s in passenger configurations. Two each are currently wet-leased to Freebird Airlines and Tailwind Airlines, the ch-aviation fleets module shows.
