Gama International Saudi Arabia, an affiliate of Gama Aviation (GMA, Farnborough), has retired its only ACJ319-100, transferring it to Sands Aviation (Las Vegas Harry Reid), ch-aviation research has revealed.
VP-BMH (msn 1589) was ferried after maintenance at Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH to Las Vegas Harry Reid via Bangor International and Lake Charles Chennault on February 28-29. The 22.5-year-old bizliner was tracked taxiing to the apron of Sands Aviation, the private in-house operator for casino and hotel firm Las Vegas Sands. It subsequently flew on to San Bernardino for further maintenance on March 18, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows.
The aircraft was previously registered in San Marino as T7-SAB and was the only one registered to Gama International Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary which does not have its own air operator's certificate.
Gama Aviation owns one Bombardier Global 5000 and one Legacy 600 registered in the Isle of Man, and two Bombardier Challenger 604s, one Gulfstream G280, one Cessna C510, eight Beech B200s, five BN-2s, eight Eurocopter EC145s, and three AW139s. Eurocontrol data shows the airline also operates one Bombardier Challenger 605 and one Global Express registered in the Isle of Man. Gama Aviation (UAE) operates one ACJ318-100 and one Legacy 650.
Sands Aviation's fleet comprises one A340-500, two ACJ319s, five B737-700(BBJ)s, one B747SP, and one B767-300ER.
