Danish business jet charter operator JoinJet (JNJ, Billund) has added a brand new Bombardier Global 5500 to its fleet, with OY-VVO (msn 60119) ferrying from Montréal Trudeau to Billund on April 12, 2024.
In addition to the Bombardier Business Aircraft, JoinJet's website indicates it operates a Challenger 650, three Hawker 4000s, two Hawker 800s, and a Piaggio Avanti P-180. JoinJet is the charter division of Sun-Air (EZ, Billund), which is best known for operating Do328-300s as a franchisee of British Airways (BA, London Heathrow).
Separately, JoinJet has confirmed that the UK's Civil Aviation Authority granted it a block licence. As a result, the airline says it will be able to operate ad-hoc EU-UK and UK-EU charter flights without the need for individual permit requests.
Editorial Comment: The article updates to correct that Sun-Air is a franchisee of BA; add details on JoinJet fleet. - 10May2024 - 11:17 UTC
