VizionAir (Antwerp) has expanded its fleet of aircraft available for charter through the addition of a Fokker 50 operated by Air Antwerp (Antwerp) and a Do328-300 operated by Sun-Air (EZ, Billund), it said via Facebook posts.
The Fokker Aircraft turboprop, OO-VLS (msn 20109), is based out of Antwerp and is Air Antwerp's only aircraft. While in pre-COVID times it was used to run 3x daily return trips between Antwerp and London City, currently the carrier operates its only scheduled route 1-2x weekly, with plans to increase the frequency to 4x weekly in mid-November. This reduction has permitted the carrier to proffer the aircraft to the ad-hoc charter market.
In turn, the Dornier twinjet will be formally operated by Sun-Air on behalf of its virtual subsidiary, business charter specialist JoinJet (JNJ, Billund). VizionAir said the aircraft, which is configured for 32 passengers, would be based out of Munich Augsburg.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Sun-Air operates a total of fifteen Do328-300s, including two in executive configurations for 14 passengers while the remainder seat 31-32 passengers. Two of the aircraft are registered in Germany with one, D-BSUN (msn 3147), currently based out of Augsburg and operating Airbus SE (Toulouse Blagnac) corporate shuttles to Marseilles.
VizionAir also markets a single Saab 340A, SP-KPG (msn 340A-151), chartered from Poland's SprintAir (P8, Warsaw Chopin). The Saab (Sweden) turboprop is based out of Paris Chalons-Vatry. VizionAir does not have its own Air Operator's Certificate or its own aircraft.
