Maastricht Airlines (Maastricht) has announced plans to lease several Fokker 50s to launch a regional operation from Maastricht originally serving Amsterdam Schiphol, Berlin Schönefeld, Munich and Paris CDG in 2013. It has also already mentioned Copenhagen Kastrup and London Southend as potential new destinations for 2014 and a second expansion phase. Ryanair (FR, Dublin International) is the only scheduled carrrier operating from Maastricht this winter and also has a B737-800 based at the airport.
