Aerocardal (CDA, Santiago de Chile) and Omnipol Group have signed a memorandum of understanding for the acquisition of one Let 410NG, which is set to be delivered in the autumn of 2024.
While the plane, manufactured by Czechia's Aircraft Industries, will be delivered in its passenger version, it will be suitable for conversion into an air ambulance.
The Let 410NG is the newest variant of the Let Kunovice turboprop. It offers improved flight parameters, improved range, and the ability to carry 500 additional kilograms of cargo. Let Kunovice parent Aircraft Industries returned to Czech ownership in 2022.
The sale of this aircraft marks the return of the L410 to Latin America, a region that still has about twenty operational aircraft from this family.
AeroCardal operates a fleet composed of Gulfstream V, Gulfstream G280, Gulfstream G150, Do228, Pilatus Aircraft, and Leonardo Helicopters, according to its website.
