Volato (TMB, Houston Hobby) is planning to take its first Gulfstream Aerospace business jet in August 2024, namely a G280, adding to a fleet that currently is almost currently comprised entirely of HondaJet HA-420s.
The fractional ownership specialist ordered four G280s in 2022, then hoping for deliveries to start in early 2024. It now expects two to arrive by the end of the year.
The ten-seaters will also be available for fractional ownership. Volato currently operates a fleet of twenty-seven HA-420s in several variants with plans to take four more this summer.
Volato also operates one Citation Bravo. Last year, it partnered charter company Fly Alliance wherein its customers could have access to larger jets ahead of the G280's arrival.
