US-based Van Rooyen Group has acquired a Falcon 7X from Trident Aviation, according to ch-aviation research. The almost 16-year-old aircraft, N7MR (msn 26), exited Trident on June 1, 2024. It was the only 7X in the charter operator's fleet.
Federal Aviation Administration records show Van Rooyen acquired the jet through TVPX Aircraft Solutions Inc Trustee. N7MR was the subject of a sales campaign earlier this year, with data on the aircraft indicating it can seat 12 passengers and had operated 1,529 landings as of January 31, 2024.
Van Rooyen Group is the Wyoming-headquartered private investment management firm of the Van Rooyen family. ch-aviation fleets data shows the company previously had a Cessna Sovereign+ until the end of 2021. The sale price of the 7X was not disclosed.
