DAC Aviation East Africa (Nairobi Wilson) has signed agreements with Stellwagen Group concerning the lease of four Airbus C295 turboprops. A statement said two of the aircraft would operate humanitarian relief services across Africa during the current quarter of the year.
"We greatly appreciate this opportunity and partnership with our friends from Stellwagen," Emmanuel Anassis, Chairman of DAC Aviation, said. "Introducing the Airbus C295 and its tremendous capabilities into our operations will significantly enhance our mission allowing us to take our 25 years of Humanitarian Assistance to the next level as we continue to deliver hope to those less fortunate."
Across its two AOCs in Kenya, DAC and Trident Aviation (Nairobi Wilson) operate four Dash 8-100s, one Dash 8-200, one Dash 8-400 and one CRJ200 on behalf of customers such as United Nations Humanitarian Air Service (UNO, Brindisi), European Commission Humanitarian Aid and the International Committee of Red Cross for example.
