The CCO of My Freighter (C6, Tashkent International) has told India's STAT Trade Times that the airline is interested in acquiring next-generation freighters, particularly the B777-8F. Mamur Mamadaliev said that the carrier intended to invest in and operate a specific aircraft type in the future, opining that new freighters offer operators greater efficiencies.
However, aside from the B777-8F not yet entering into production, he noted that there are restrictions on operating the type at Tashkent International and an agreement would have to be reached with the airport operator before the airline can base the type there. As a result, in the short to medium term, My Freighter will remain a B767F operator.
The ch-aviation fleets module shows My Freighter operates five B767Fs - four B767-300ER(BCF)s and one B767-300ER(BDSF). The fourth and fifth B767Fs have only recently arrived after My Freighter recently inked a lease agreement with Air Transport Services Group as part of its strategy to create a new Silk Road. UK67018 (msn 25587) ferried in earlier this month and almost immediately went into revenue service, while UK67017 (msn 25583) ferried to Tashkent around a week ago.
My Freighter also has three A320-200s, which it operates on a wet lease basis for other carriers - currently two are placed with flyadeal (F3, Jeddah International) and one with Centrum Air (Tashkent International). It also operates a single ACJ319-100 on behalf of the Uzbek government.
ADS-B flight tracking data indicates My Freighter regularly operates cargo flights to Hong Kong International, Seoul Incheon, Liège, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion, Beirut, Istanbul Airport, and Shijiazhuang. In early July, the airline launched its first flights to Ezhou and says it plans to run up to ten roundtrips per week to the airport in the future.
