Discovery Jets (Fort Lauderdale Executive) has submitted an application to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for commuter authority.
The company, whose legal name is USAC Airways 693, LLC, is based in Fort Lauderdale and currently operates two Cessna Aircraft Company Citation X jets, N107AV (msn 750-0107) and N905VR (msn 750-0105).
Discovery Jets, founded in 2016, offers aircraft management, on-demand charters, and aircraft sales under Part 91 and Part 135, according to its website. South Africa's NAC Charter (NTN, Johannesburg Lanseria) acquired a 25% stake in the Part 135 private jet operator in 2021.
