Hongkong Jet (Hong Kong International) has added a Global 5000 to its San Marino-registered managed fleet, resuming operations with this aircraft type after an 11-year hiatus, according to ch-aviation research. The operator has also expanded its fleet by introducing its first Hawker 850XP to its San Marino fleet.

The Bombardier Business Aircraft jet, now registered as T7-CMH (msn 9998), is 14.1 years old and was previously operated by TAG Aviation San Marino. On August 26, 2024, it completed a test flight under its former registration, T7-YMF, at Singapore Seletar, using TAG Aviation San Marino's 'TAG' code. After being re-registered, the aircraft flew to Shenzhen on September 27, 2024, and has since been operating domestically in China. This addition follows a request for proposals (RFP) launched by Hongkong Jet in April 2024, seeking two long-range aircraft for delivery in the third and fourth quarters of the year.

Originally delivered to TAG Aviation Asia, the Global 5000's msn was changed from 9414 to 9998 at the customer's request.

The Hawker 850XP, now registered as T7-HKJ (msn 258856), is 17.4 years old and was previously operated under Talon Air's ICAO code 'TFF', though it was not under its Part 135-certified fleet. While still registered as N375BC, the aircraft underwent several test flights in April and May 2024, before flying from Farmingdale to Bangor International on June 6, 2024, where it was re-registered under its current San Marino registration. Between June 15 and June 23, 2024, the jet travelled from Bangor International to Kuala Lumpur Subang, with stops at Reykjavik Keflavik, Rimini, Cairo International, Dubai World Central, and Colombo International. After conducting further test flights at Kuala Lumpur Subang, it relocated to its base in Kuching, where it has been actively operating, serving various airports in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. Notably, this aircraft was part of Hongkong Jet's parent company, Deer Jet Beijing, between 2007 and 2016, before being registered in the US.

Hongkong Jet, specialising in aircraft management, operates a fleet of 85 aircraft under this model across four locations, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, and Guernsey, according to its official website. The fleet includes models from Airbus Corporate Jets, Boeing Business Jet, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Textron Aviation.

Meanwhile, TAG Aviation continues to operate a Global 5000 under its San Marino AOC, following a pause in operations with this type under its Maltese AOC, as reported by ch-aviation.

US-based Talon Air continues to operate one Hawker 850XP within its Part-135-certified fleet, which comprises 24 aircraft, including one Challenger 350, one Challenger 3500, one Challenger 604, two Falcon 2000s, one G200, one G400, one Hawker 800XP, nine Hawker 4000s, five GVs, and one GIV-SP.
