Hongkong Jet (Hong Kong International) has announced it has secured an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from Guernsey's Director of Civil Aviation (DCA).
According to a DCA press release, the first aircraft added to the Channel Islands' register is parent firm Deer Jet Beijing's BBJB787-8 2-DEER (msn 35309) now on the certificate of subsidiary BAS Guernsey (Guernsey). Four more business jets will be added by year-end followed by another five in 2018.
The Hong Kong-based business aviation specialist is also planning to acquire a Malaysian AOC during the third quarter of the year.
