Solairus Aviation (TWY, Novato) has added its first Citation Encore+ to its Part 135-certified fleet, according to ch-aviation research. This aircraft was the last of its type to be operated under the certificate of N-Jet (NUS, Chicago Executive).

The 17.4-year-old N562CL (msn 560-0768) was initially registered in the United States before being exported to Spain, where it operated for three years. It returned to the US at the end of 2011 with N-Jet and completed its final flight for the operator under the 'NUS' code on June 1, 2024, flying from Fort Lauderdale International to Chicago Executive, which has since become its base for Solairus Aviation. FAA data shows that the aircraft was registered to the new operator's Part 135 fleet in August 2024.

Solairus Aviation is one of the largest aircraft charter and aviation management firms in the US, with over 140 aircraft on its certificate. Its Part 135 fleet includes a diverse range of Bombardier Business Aircraft, Textron Aviation, Dassault Aviation, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Pilatus Aircraft types.

In contrast, N-Jet's charter fleet consists of nine aircraft, including one Astra SPX, one Challenger 350, one Citation Excel, one Citation Jet 3, one Citation Latitude, one Citation Sovereign+, one Citation V, one Hawker 800XP, one Hawker 900XP, and one PC-24.
