Bikini Jet (Istanbul Atatürk) has retired its only Global 5000, as revealed by ch-aviation research, with the aircraft now registered in San Marino operating under a newly established UAE company, Mapa Aviation DWC LLC.
The 14.3-year-old Bombardier Business Aircraft T7-MJA (msn 9408) completed its final flight with its previous registration, TC-MJA, on September 16, 2024, between Dalaman and Istanbul Atatürk, two airports that it frequently served. On October 27, 2024, the jet made its first flight under its Sammarinese registration, to Dubai International, now operating for Mapa Aviation DWC LLC, according to Eurocontrol's RVSM data. Originally delivered to MNG Jet, later rebranded as Be Aero, it subsequently joined TAV Air, the AOC of which Bikini Jet used to register its brand earlier this year.
Eurocontrol RVSM data indicates that Bikini Jet currently operates a Citation Latitude, a Global Express, and an Embraer Executive Jets Legacy 650. The company focuses on private jet charters, aircraft management, consultancy, aircraft sales and acquisitions, and brokering.
Mapa Aviation DWC LLC was established in the UAE in August 2024. According to the country's National Economic Registry (NER), its business activities include passenger charter flights, however, UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) shows that it is currently not an approved air operator.
