Air Century (Y2, Santo Domingo La Isabela) has introduced its first Gulfstream Aerospace jet to its executive charter fleet with the addition of a GIV-SP.
HI1111 (msn 1473) completed its first flight under Dominican registration on July 21, 2024, from Kinston to Miami Opa-Locka. Configured for up to 13 passengers, the 22-year-old jet was initially registered in Mexico, where it operated for a year, before being registered in the United States. Most recently, it was operated by FlyExclusive (JRE, Kinston) as N410JS, with its final flight under FlyExclusive’s 'JRE' code conducted as a test flight around Kinston on May 4, 2024.
Air Century provides scheduled passenger services, private jet charters, and cargo transportation. Within its executive charter fleet, the Gulfstream joins a 26.8-year-old Cessna Aircraft Company Citation VII, registered in the US. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Air Century also operates three Bombardier Aerospace CRJ200ERs and one BAe Jetstream 32. The ch-aviation schedules module shows that its current route network includes flights between its bases in Punta Cana and Santo Domingo Las Américas to Aruba, Curaçao, Port au Prince, and St. Maarten.
FlyExclusive, meanwhile, will continue to operate five other GIV-SPs under its Part 135 certificate. Its charter fleet also includes two Challenger 350s, two Citation Encore +, thirty-four Citation Excels, fourteen Citation Jet 3s, nine Citation Jet 3+ (with eight additional units on order), seven Citation Sovereigns, five Citation X, seven Citation XLSs, and three Citation XLS+. The US-based operator specialises in private jet charter flights, fractional ownership, aircraft sales and acquisitions, and maintenance services.
