Jet Aviation Flight Services (JAS, Teterboro) resumed GIV-SP operations in October after a one-year hiatus, adding N741VE (msn 1404) to its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research has found.

The Gulfstream Aerospace jet was previously listed on the certificate of Wing Aviation (CWG, Houston Hobby) until August 2024, completing its last flight under the 'CWG' code on March 17, between Dallas Love Field and Alton. The 23.3-year-old aircraft was initially registered in the United States before being re-registered in Mexico, where it operated from 2009 to 2019 prior to joining Wing Aviation’s fleet, which continues to operate one unit of the type.

Jet Aviation Flight Services operated three GIV-SPs in the past, with two in service concurrently between 2021 and 2022. This latest addition brings its charter fleet to 54 aircraft, including five G450s, alongside other Gulfstream Aerospace models and a broad selection of business jets from other manufacturers, such as Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Embraer Executive Jets, and Textron Aviation. The company has also retired its sole Leonardo Helicopters AW139 and now operates two Sikorsky helicopters under its Part 135 certificate.

The company is part of Jet Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics. The group manages approximately 300 aircraft worldwide and provides a full suite of services, including aircraft charter and management, sales, completions, maintenance, staffing, and fixed-base operations.
