TransNusa (8B, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) has ferried its first A321-200 to Jakarta, with PK-TLG (msn 2309) flying in on November 18, 2024, after undergoing pre-delivery checks and air-tests at Kuala Lumpur Subang.

ch-aviation flagged the delivery of the aircraft last month. That report noted that the former China Eastern Airlines (MU, Shanghai Hongqiao) twinjet is leased from China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (better known as CALC), which is TransNusa's majority owner. Aside from being TransNusa's first A321-200, it is the only active A321 type on the Indonesian aircraft register.

ch-aviation has contacted TransNusa and CALC for comment.

Aside from its recently arrived A321, TransNusa operates a fleet of seven aircraft - four A320-200s and three C909s - to ten airports across Indonesia, China, Malaysia, and Singapore. The operator has a further twenty-seven ARJ21-700s on order. Its recently launched Manado-Guangzhou service is currently the world's longest scheduled flight using Chinese-made jets.
