Volato (TMB, Houston Hobby) has retired the last unit of the HondaJet APMG variant operated in its Part 135-certified fleet, as revealed by ch-aviation research.

N225DB (msn 42000044), an 8.2-year-old aircraft, was last active under the 'TMB' code on December 1, 2024, flying between Denver Centennial and Kalispell International. Previously the sole HondaJet in the charter fleet of Waltzing Matilda Aviation until February, N225DB joined Volato's Part 135 certificate in April.

Volato's Part 135 certificate now includes seven other HondaJet aircraft across three different variants, comprising three HondaJet Elite, three HondaJet Elite IIs, and a HondaJet Elite S, alongside a Hawker 750 and a King Air B200.

Cost-cutting measures have led Volato to return some leased HA-420s, while additional retirements have reduced the company's charter fleet, which including 28 jets at the beginning of the year. The ongoing management takeover by FlyExclusive (JRE, Kinston) is expected to result in more aircraft leaving Volato’s fleet and being incorporated into FlyExclusive’s.
