Chartright Air (HRT, Toronto Pearson) added a first G280 for charter operations in December 2024. C-FVPB (msn 2024) is configured to seat up to nine passengers and is based at Toronto Pearson, the company has confirmed to ch-aviation.

The 11.7-year-old aircraft was previously operated by United States-based Executive Jet Management as N459BN, although it was not listed under the Part 135 certificate of the company, which includes five units of the type. It was last active under the 'EJM' code on November 1, flying between Fort Worth Meacham and Phoenix Williams Gateway. On December 9, the jet was deregistered in the United States and reregistered in Canada under Chartright Air three days later. It operated for the first time under the 'HRT' code on December 20 to Toronto Pearson.

The G280 joins other Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft in the fleet of Chartright Air, including three G200s and one G450. The G280 type is currently only listed under CAR 604 (private operations only). Additionally, the company operates 42 other aircraft manufactured by Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, and Textron Aviation, with recent additions to the fleet including a Challenger 3500 and Falcon 2000LXS.
