Colorful Guizhou Airlines (GY, Guiyang) is recruiting C909 pilots ahead of the planned induction of the type later this year. The carrier posted the recruitment notice, which also concerns A320 pilots, on February 19.
It seeks 23 pilots who meet specific training requirements and hours (500 hours or more on A320 or C909 aircraft or who have served as pilot-in-command for 800 hours or more on other aircraft).
Colorful Guizhou Airlines also has twenty C909s on order. The carrier will receive applications in batches until December 31, 2025.
The airline flies to 49 airports around China. It also started flights to Hanoi Noi Bai International last August. It operates ten A320-200Ns (with another two due) and nine E190s.
