Wheels Up (WUP, Teterboro) has launched Challenger 300 operations following the addition of the first units of the type in March, ch-aviation research reveals.

The first Challenger 300 flight under Wheels Up's 'WUP' code took place on March 26, with N91QK (msn 20375) operating between Washington Dulles and Evansville. The 12.5-year-old leased aircraft has been active since entering service.

Previously, the jet was operated by JetSelect Aviation, part of the Vista America group. JetSelect's Part 135 fleet continues to include thirty-five Challenger 300s, as well as ten Challenger 350s and a Challenger 3500.

Wheels Up's second Challenger 300, N944UP (msn 20451), acquired in March 2025, has been parked at Chattanooga Lovell since April 1. A third Challenger 300, N490CB (msn 20147), soon to be reregistered as N943UP, has been flying under the 'WUP' code since April 6. The aircraft is leased and has not yet been listed as Part 135-certified.

As its fleet modernisation strategy advances, Wheels Up's current Part 135 fleet, also covering aircraft under the certificate of Wheels Up Partners, comprises two Challenger 300s, six Citation Jet 3s (following the retirement of a Citation Jet 3+), eight Citation Excels, seven Citation XLS, twenty-three Citation X, twelve Phenom 300s, five Phenom 300Es, two GIV-SPs, twenty-one Hawker 400XPs, a Hawker 400XT, and thirty-one King Air B300s.
