Cinnamon Air (C7, Colombo International) has announced plans to launch domestic scheduled operations in Sri Lanka later this spring with a fleet of Cessna 208 Caravan and Cessna 208 Grand Caravan aircraft including amphibious aircraft allowing the use of the country's waterdromes. Cinnamon plans to initially operate from Colombo's Bandaranaike International airport to Batticaloa, Kandy Polgolla Reservoir, Koggala, Sigiriya, Trincomalee China Bay and Weerawila competing on some of these routes with SriLankan Airlines (UL, Colombo International) subsidiary SriLankan Air Taxi (Colombo International).
