Odyssey Airlines (London City) is planning to launch direct London City to New York JFK flights using a fleet of ten A220-100s, airline CEO, Adam D. Scott, has announced. The order for the ten CS100s, originally placed with Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) in June 2011, is valued at USD628million and was confirmed by the Canadian manufacturer at the 2013 Paris Air Show at Paris Le Bourget. Odyssey will offer a niche-product aimed at the business and premium markets with other as-yet-unspecified destinations to be served in due course.
