Línea Aérea SINAMI (Santiago de Chile) has wet-leased an B737-400, N42XA (msn 25729), from Nevada-based operator, XTRA Airways (Fort Lauderdale International) for operation on behalf of One Airlines (Santiago de Chile). The aircraft arrived in Santiago de Chile last week and is the first of a series of jets to be leased by the Chilean carrier, who specialize in mining company contracts, specifically in transporting workers from their homes in central Chile to their projects in the north of the country. One Airlines also plans to operate flights between Santiago and Concepcion Carriel Sur to Antofagasta, Calama, Copiapó Desierto de Atacama and Iquique.
