7th Sky (Almaty International) is planning to launch regional flights to Chechnya using two CRJ100ERs, UP-CJ009 (c/n 7354) & UP-CJ010 (c/n 7359), formerly with Sapsan Air (Almaty International). According to the airline, initial services will operate 4 days a week encompassing Almaty International, Aktau and Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev to Grozny. The Chechen capital is currently served by another Kazakh airline, InvestAvia (Almaty International), as well as by RusLine (7R, Moscow Vnukovo), UTair (UT, Khanty-Mansiysk) and Groznyavia (Grozny).
