South Supreme Airlines (Juba) has confirmed that it has ceased operations to the South Sudanese states of Jonglei, Unity and some parts of Upper Nile state. "South Supreme Airlines is operational in the whole country except areas where we have been advised by the Civil Aviation Authority", Ayii Duang Ayii, executive director of the company told the Sudan Tribune. The three regions are currently under control of armed forces loyal to the former vice president, Riek Machar. In a statement, the South Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority said that for the safety of the passengers and staff of local commercial flight operators, which include Kush Air (Juba) and Juba Air (Juba), flights to ICAO!HSBR, Panyagor, ICAO!HSAK and all other areas under rebel control, had been stopped until further notice.
