Western Global Airlines (KD, Fort Myers Southwest Florida) has launched operations with its first MD-11(F), N435KD (msn 48435), now in service. As previously reported, a second of the type, N415JN (msn 48415), is also set to make its début in due course. Both aircraft are leased from affiliate, Neff Air LLC.
Having secured its Part 121 Air Operators Certificate (AOC), Western Global intends to offer both local and international cargo flights in partnership with its Finnish sister carrier, Nordic Global Airlines (Helsinki Vantaa). N435KD currently operates for Nordic Global.
