AeroVis Airlines (VIZ, Rivne) subsidiary, Air Cargo Solutions (Fort Lauderdale International), will shortly take delivery of three ex-Avialeasing (Tashkent International) An-12 turboprop transports - UK-12002 (cn 402002), UK-11418 (cn 402504) and UK-12005 (cn 4342103). According to AMCAR, Air Cargo Solutions filed a request with the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to add the aircraft to the US registry on August 20.
Air Cargo Solutions entered into a joint-venture with the Uzbek cargo specialist to manage its fleet of Florida-based cargo aircraft. So far, the project has focussed on building the presence and utility of the An-12 workhorse in the North and South American markets and of exploiting its trans-Atlantic capability.
