One Airlines (Santiago de Chile) has acquired CC-AIT (msn 28554) from fellow Chilean operator, PAL Airlines (Santiago de Chile). The B737-300 was recently seen at Santiago de Chile painted in One's livery ahead of its hand-over. PAL has yet to resume operations following its grounding by the Chilean civil aviation authority (Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil - DGAC) in August.
As it stands, this is One's second aircraft joining a B737-400, N42XA (msn 25729), wet-leased from XTRA Airways (Fort Lauderdale International). One specializes in charter flights for the mining community.
