Malindo Air (Kuala Lumpur International) will commence scheduled operations out of Batu Berendam airport next month when it launches 3x weekly flights to Pekanbaru, Indonesia and Penang, Malaysia. Airline Route states the flights, set to launch on November 5, will operate on-board an ATR72-600.
The routes mark the airport's first scheduled flights since Indonesia's Sky Aviation (Indonesia) (Jakarta Halim) suspended its Pekanbaru operations earlier this year.
