Air Moldova (MLD, Chisinau International) is looking to replace its sole E120 with a larger aircraft Sergiu Jereghi, the airline's finance department director, has disclosed. Speaking to the AirFinance Journal, Jereghi said the Moldovan carrier was studying either the E170, or the E190, of which it currently operates two.
Air Moldova wet-leases the EMB-120 from fellow Moldovan carrier, Tandem-Aero (Chisinau International), for use on flights to Sochi, Bucharest Henri Coanda, and Kyiv Boryspil, from its Chisinau International hub.
It also operates two A320-200s and one A321-200 (wet-leased from Hermes Airlines (Athens)).
