Chilejet (Santiago de Chile) has secured its Air Operators Certificate from the Chilean civil aviation authority (Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil - DGAC) with plans to proceed with launch plans.
Its certification complete, Chilejet will initially offer daily return charter flights to Antofagasta and Calama using its sole aircraft, a B737-300 CC-ADZ (msn 24634). The arrival of two more of the type is then expected to lead to the launch of international charters to Peru, Brazil, and Argentina.
