Aerocon (Santa Cruz El Trompillo) suspended all operations with effect from February 27 citing difficult market conditions. The Bolivian regulatory authority (Autoridad de Regulación y Fiscalización de Telecomunicaciones y Transportes – ATT) has said, however, that the airline cannot unilaterally suspend flights without proper authorization. As such, it has warned that it could begin proceedings to formally revoke Aerocon's Air Operators Certificate (AOC) should any regulations be violated.
Prior to its suspension, Aerocon offered scheduled passenger services between Cobija, Guayaramerin, La Paz El Alto, Oruro, Potosí Capitan Nicolas Rojas, Riberalta, Santa Cruz El Trompillo, Santa Ana Yacuma, Tarija, Trinidad Jorge Heinrich Arauz, and Yacuiba.
