Tropicair (Papua New Guinea) (Port Moresby) has taken delivery of its first DHC-6 X2, N34KH (cn 542), from California-based Ikhana Aircraft Services. The turboprop is a Zero Time airframe having undergone a Re-Life process which extends the Twin Otter's life span limit of 66,000 hours or 132,000 flight cycles.
Tropicair specializes in domestic Papua New Guinean cargo and passenger charter flights operating a fleet of four Cessna (single turboprop) 208B Caravans, three Beech (twin turboprop) Super King Air B200s and one King Air C90A.
