Sea Air (Croatia) (Osijek) has signed a cooperation agreement with Kuwait-based tour operator, Kinda Holidays, ahead of the launch of flights between the Gulf and Croatia later this month.
The Croatian start-up said in a statement that it would operate a 3x weekly Kuwait-Sarajevo-Osijek service effective August 18. Operations are on-board a B737-400 chartered from Georgia's Luftline Georgia (Tbilisi).
Since July, Sea Air has been partnering AeroJet (Ukraine) (BJU, Odesa) in offering religious charter flights between Italy and Mostar in Bosnia Herzegovina. Mostar serves Medjugorje, a site revered as sacred by Roman Catholics.
Given the "strong growth potential" in the market, it intends to expand its religious charter operations to Bosnia Herzegovina to include flights from Sicily as well as Osijek. Flights from the latter are scheduled to launch at the end of the month using an AeroJet Saab 340B.
Despite previous announcements, Sea Air has yet to launch its proposed scheduled flights from Osijek to Frankfurt International, Munich and Stuttgart Manfred Rommel.
