Sky Greenland (Aalborg), the Greenlandic virtual carrier formerly known as Greenland Express (Aalborg), says it has acquired a 75% stake in start-up Green Air (Finland) (Helsinki Vantaa). As recently reported, Green Air is a virtual carrier with plans to charter a Fokker 100 from fellow Sky Greenland subsidiary Denim Air ACMI (Amsterdam Schiphol) later this summer.
While exact routings are currently unknown, Green Air will serve three destinations in continental Europe with up to six weekly flights. Operations are scheduled to commence on May 1.
